Update from John Rogers in Utah:

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers for me as I traveled.  I have arrived safely in Utahand have been very busy working with missionary Daniel Long toward the start of his new church plant.  Berean Bible Studies of Orem will officially start June 24^th, just a few days away.  It has been quite exciting to be involved in missionary outreach in beautifulUtahValley – once again working at getting a Baptist church started in Mormon land.  It sure has brought back a lot of memories.  I drive along the roads and highways here and the mountains are right where they should be.  Please continue to pray as we prepare the meeting place, do door to door calling, and get to know those in the area.  There is a real possibility of having several people at the start of the Bible studies.

I have enjoyed seeing friends from the past and new friends as well.  (I am trying my best to see as many fellow believers that I can while in the area.)  Also, I spoke at Faith Baptist in Spanish Fork, UT on June 10^th and had the opportunity to meet “Amy” again and her children.  She was a little girl when I was missionary/pastor starting Faith Baptist many years ago.

Please pray for Beabea staying home and working her caregiver job/ministry.  Her willingness to do that allows me to be involved here inUtahand the other places I will be on this trip.  She is a very special lady.  We look forward to being able to travel toAlaskalate summer and ministering together there.

Also, I had the privilege of seeing grandkids on the way out toUtah.  That was special.  I helped little Laurie plant several pumpkins, and she called to inform me one had started to grow.  My daughter, Christy, sent me a picture of it on my phone.  Yes, indeed, little Laurie and I are a great team!
