Keller's Update 9/15/2023
September 28, 2023
Dear Prayer Partners: (Family & Friends!)                                                Fall 2023

Isn’t it amazing how time just moves on, and opportunities are in front of us on a daily basis.  My thoughts go to a Scripture . . . .

“So, teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of   wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12

Jeanne and I have been spending many hours of our summer preparing for the Fall BEM Conference in Michigan.  A number of conflicting events, that we were unaware of in our initial planning, were taking place in the Conference area.  Our director and team, decided to postponed the Conference to a date yet to be decided.  Proverbs 6:9 tells us “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”

We would ask you to pray for the BEM Conference that is being planned for April 26-27, in UTAH.

We have been praying for a ministry that is going through Spiritual warfare.  Pray with us that things can be resolved and the local congregation can continue to have an effective influence in their community.  This weighs heavy on our hearts.  Pray for the Pastor, his family and the leaders of the church, to have wisdom, a sense of God’s presence, direction and victory.

I have had some ministry opportunities and am looking forward to additional preaching opportunities at my home church (Bethel Baptist).  They are continuing their search for a Pastor.

We are both, again, serving in the Awana Ministry at Bethel this year.  Jeanne has also been very busy, as she is serving on a Missions Team at Bethel.  They are preparing for a Missions Emphasis during the month of October.  We look for and have been given unique opportunities to share Christ with our peers at work.

THANK YOU so much for praying for us!  We don’t always know how you may be praying, but do know God will respond to you and do the right thing.  THANK YOU also for the anonymous gifts for our ministry.  This helps cover costs for our involvement in the Conferences and we have used it to help purchase books for the Pastors who will attend the next Conference.

We know our days are numbered (Psalm 90:12), but want to use the time God gives us to do our best in faithfully serving Him whenever the doors open.
