Fall  2018

Dear Friends & Prayer Warriors:

We want to thank you for all of your prayers, love and the concern you have shown.

Two surgeries later, a lot of Doctors appointments, and a number of hospital stays, we praise God that I am making progress and am in the process of healing.  God has definitely been gracious to us.  We loved the opportunities we have had to serve Him as a part of the BEM fellowship of believers.  With my health coming back we are looking forward to future ministry and further investing time in the lives of others.

We are excited about being involved in a Small Church Pastors Conference at Kokomo, Indiana, on November 9-10.  Jeanne & I will both be participating in the presentations given during the conference.  We want to be an encouragement to Pastors and their wives, who serve faithfully and so often unnoticed.  The session I will be sharing is entitled “Defining Success in a Small Church” and Jeanne will be participating in a women’s breakout session called “How to Encourage Your Pastor”.  We want them to know it is the greatest privilege they could be involved in, serving as Pastors, to the churches to which God has called them.

We are looking for opportunities to be an encouragement to additional churches and Pastors.  Currently we are both serving in the Awana ministry in our home church, at Bethel Baptist.  We have enjoyed getting to know our new Pastor & his wife, Glenn and Tina Faris.  God was good in bringing them to Bethel!

Praise & Pray:

● Praise God for restoring my health & pray He would keep us strong and healthy so we may be able to continue serving Him.

● Praise God that He has promised that “the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church”.

● Continue praying for wisdom in discerning God’s will and additional opportunities to serve.

● Pray that we would remain spiritually clean, sensitive & effective as we share Jesus Christ with others.

● Pray for us as we prepare the material we will be sharing at the Indiana Pastor’s Conf.
