Jim and Jeanne Keller have been involved in ministry for over 40 years. During that time, Jim has served as a pastor in three churches including 30 years at Bethel Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas.
In his early years, Jim was the campus pastor for a Christian School in South Dakota. In addition to his pastoral ministries, through the years and presently, he has served as an adjunct professor for a Bible college and teaches overseas in pastoral training.
Jim graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Grace University, Omaha, Nebraska and a Masters of Divinity from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He and Jeanne were married in 1969 and have two adult/married children.
Jeanne has had extensive experience as a pastor's wife. She has served in leadership roles for the ladies and children in the churches her husband pastored. She has also served as co-director for AWANA and Director of the Women's Ministry Team at Bethel.
During their years of faithful ministry, Jim and Jeanne have had the privilege of being involved in a number of unique opportunities serving Christ. They both enjoy teaching God’s Word, doing one-on-one counseling and sharing Christ as the Lord opens the door.
The Keller’s left full-time church ministry in 2016 and, having always had a heart for missions, are excited to serve Him through Barnabas Enrichment Ministries. Their many years of experience in serving the people of God have prepared the Keller’s for their ministry with BEM. Churches and leaders will find in them a great resource to encourage and challenge both their pastors and congregations. Jim & Jeanne also serve as Missionaries with BEM and on the Board. Jim also serves as Missionary Care Director.
